He cited the examples of Samini’s Untamed Album, Akwaboah’s Matters Of The Heart Album and Worlasi’s The Man And The God Album as perfect Grammy candidates.

His post on Facebook read: “It could have been Matters of the Heart by Akwaboah Music Untamed by SAMINI The man and the God by Worlasi But the Ghanaian audience will not allow, they will choose noise makers over quality sound Let me come and be going”.

Samini And Stonebwoy Clash On Twitter Over GH Artistes Inability To Win Grammys Like Nigerians (See Posts)

Two of Ghana’s dancehall heavyweights, Samini and Stonebwoy have taken to Twitter in what appeared like a banter over the recent Grammy Awards.

Following Burna Boy and WizKid’s award at the recent Grammys, Stonebwoy took to Twitter to ask everyone to congratulate the Nigerians for representing the whole continent.

Samini however was of the assertion that Ghanaian artistes, just like the Nigerians, could also win at the global awards scheme only if they were honest and stop disrespecting legends.

Stonebwoy came back to react to Samini’s reply and said he did not mean to disrespect anyone with his tweet.

Samini jumped on this and handed it to the Baafira singer by saying he for one was disrespectful to him and even called him a sellout in public.

Stonebwoy however said he did not want to engage in any banter with Samini following the latter’s recent beef with fellow dancehall act Shatta Wale.

Samini also said he was disappointed that Stonebwoy who he considered like his son could speak back to him on social media.

Stonebwoy’s tweet which led to the banter followed the sterling performance of Nigerian acts Burna Boy and WizKid who won big on the night.
