Two of Ghana’s dancehall heavyweights, Samini and Stonebwoy have taken to Twitter in what appeared like a banter over the recent Grammy Awards.
Following Burna Boy and WizKid’s award at the recent Grammys, Stonebwoy took to Twitter to ask everyone to congratulate the Nigerians for representing the whole continent.

Samini however was of the assertion that Ghanaian artistes, just like the Nigerians, could also win at the global awards scheme only if they were honest and stop disrespecting legends.
Stonebwoy came back to react to Samini’s reply and said he did not mean to disrespect anyone with his tweet.

Samini jumped on this and handed it to the Baafira singer by saying he for one was disrespectful to him and even called him a sellout in public.
Stonebwoy however said he did not want to engage in any banter with Samini following the latter’s recent beef with fellow dancehall act Shatta Wale.
Samini also said he was disappointed that Stonebwoy who he considered like his son could speak back to him on social media.
Stonebwoy’s tweet which led to the banter followed the sterling performance of Nigerian acts Burna Boy and WizKid who won big on the night.
