No Ghanaian Musician Has Made $1 Million From Music – Fantana Speaks In Video (Watch)

Former Ruff Town Records signee, Fantana, has indicated in a new video that no Ghanaian musician can say he or she has made $1 million from music.

While speaking in an interview with Ghanaian blogger Jibriel, Fantana revealed that she does not think that any Ghanaian has made that much from working in Ghana alone.

She however indicated that it was possible for some top stars like Shatta Wale and Sarkodie to say they have made such an amount but the new faces in music cannot make such claims.

Even with the top stars, Fantana indicated that they can make that much from international deals and moves and not from making music just for the Ghanaian market.

She revealed that Ghanaian artistes can only survive in the music industry if they become business-minded.

Fantana spoke on a myriad of things including her relationship with her mother who is a Member of Parliament to the number of cars she owns.

The Girls Hate On Girls singer was recently in the news when she spoke about her time after leaving Bullet-run Ruff Town Records.

According to her, she has become more independent and confident following her exit from her former record label.

If Ghanaian Artistes Want To Win Grammys They Must Work On Their Branding And Networking – Gary Al-Smith Advices

Award-winning Ghanaian sports journalist, Gary AL-Smith has given some golden advice to Ghanaian artistes who dream of winning Grammys.

In a Facebook post and sightwed by YEN.com.gh, the journalist indicated that talent was not enough to win world-acclaimed awards like BET and Grammys.

According to him, the two most important aspects that Ghanaian artistes need to focus on are branding and networking or connections.

He indicated that this is the secret of the Nigerian acts who are winning some of these top awards.

Gary Al-Smith gave the typical example of Ghana’s very own Rocky Dawuni who used his branding and networking outside Ghana to gain worldwide prominence and recognition.

The celebrated sports journo also cited the Nigerian examples of Burna Boy and Wizkid who have all seen the light and doing things the right way.

Gary Al-Smith however acknowledged the fact that the likes of Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie have contributed and are still contributing their quotas to taking Ghanaian craft to the rest of the world.

His comments come on the back of Wizkid winning a Grammy award following his collaboration with American superstar, Beyonce.

The Bible Is Just Like Any Ordinary Story Book And I Don’t Believe In Jesus – Rapper Agbeshie Says In Video (Watch)

Rapper Agbeshie known in real life as Frank Agbeshie Lawstand has said he does not believe in the existence of Jesus Christ or the Bible.

While speaking in an exclusive interview with Zionfelix, and spotted by frimprinceproductions, the rapper said he was not fond of going to church and that the Bible was just like any normal story book.

“I know there is God but not Jesus Christ. I only know that somebody created me which is spirit”, Agbeshie said.

He said he does not remember the last time he visited any church to worship with them but acknowledged the existence of a creator.

The singer said his music craft was only meant to entertain and not influence the kind of lives that people decided to lead.

He went on to say that his hit song “Wrowroho” was in no way asking people to go naked but rather a way of asking people to always stand for the truth.

Agbeshie then decided to take a context from the Bible to buttress his point but Zionfelix reminded him of his stance of not believing in the efficacy of the book considered by Christians to be holy.

Mr Okoh Chartey, the driver of the Jeep car that contained former VGMA Artiste of The Year, Ebony Reigns, has been remanded by court.

Reports reaching frimprinceproductions from Peacefmonline has it that an Nkawie Circuit Court gave the order for the driver to be remanded.

Fresh details from the case has it that Mr Chartey, as at the time of the accident, was driving with an expired driver’s license.

He was also charged with dangerous driving and driving without a license which are all serious offences.

After the charges were read, Mr Chartey pleaded not guilty to all of them and this caused the presiding judge, Mr Johnson Abbey, to remand him.

The embattled driver would reappear before court on March 24, 2021 to answer to the charges.

Fresh investigations, according to Chief Inspector Jonas Newlove Agyei, brought this information to bare which necessitated action.

Mr Okoh Chartey was the driver of the Jeep vehicle with registration number AS 497-16 which was carrying Ebony Reigns, Franky Kuri and Lance Corporal Atsu Vondee.

The three occupants died on the spot but Mr Charwey’s life was spared though he suffered major injuries.

Ebony and her companions met their death on February 8, 2018.

The ace actor and his wife celebrated the memorable day by sharing some lovey-dovey photos of themselves on social media.

One of the photos saw Adjetey Anang leaning in to plant a kiss on his wife’s forehead.

Another photo saw the duo basking in each other’s company as they lay in the grass while looking deep into one another’s eyes.

In one of the stunning photos, Adjetey Anang captioned it: “Happy 14th Anniversary @elom_anang “Sometimes too hot the eye of Heaven shines
And often is his gold complexion dimm’d,
And every fair from fair sometimes declines By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d”.
