Breaking News: Driver Of Jeep Car That Killed Ebony Reigns Remanded Into Prison Custody (See Details)

Mr Okoh Chartey, the driver of the Jeep car that contained former VGMA Artiste of The Year, Ebony Reigns, has been remanded by court.

Reports reaching frimprinceproductions from Peacefmonline has it that an Nkawie Circuit Court gave the order for the driver to be remanded.

Fresh details from the case has it that Mr Chartey, as at the time of the accident, was driving with an expired driver’s license.

He was also charged with dangerous driving and driving without a license which are all serious offences.

After the charges were read, Mr Chartey pleaded not guilty to all of them and this caused the presiding judge, Mr Johnson Abbey, to remand him.

The embattled driver would reappear before court on March 24, 2021 to answer to the charges.

Fresh investigations, according to Chief Inspector Jonas Newlove Agyei, brought this information to bare which necessitated action.

Mr Okoh Chartey was the driver of the Jeep vehicle with registration number AS 497-16 which was carrying Ebony Reigns, Franky Kuri and Lance Corporal Atsu Vondee.

The three occupants died on the spot but Mr Charwey’s life was spared though he suffered major injuries.

Ebony and her companions met their death on February 8, 2018.

Veteran Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang and his gorgeous wife Elorm Anang have marked their 14th marriage anniversary today, March 10, 2021.

The ace actor and his wife celebrated the memorable day by sharing some lovey-dovey photos of themselves on social media.

They were seen spending some quality time together in what looked like a picnic-themed photoshoot.

Adjetey Anang was seen wearing an ash-coloured shirt over a pair of jeans while his wife Elorm was clad in a beautiful yellow dress.

One of the photos saw Adjetey Anang leaning in to plant a kiss on his wife’s forehead.

Another photo saw the duo basking in each other’s company as they lay in the grass while looking deep into one another’s eyes.

In one of the stunning photos, Adjetey Anang captioned it: “Happy 14th Anniversary @elom_anang “Sometimes too hot the eye of Heaven shines
And often is his gold complexion dimm’d,
And every fair from fair sometimes declines By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d”.

Many fans and followers of the couple took to the comment section to shower praises on them and to also congratulate them.

Ghanaian actress and burgeoning musician, Mrs Precious Fella Makafui Frimpong, has hinted of soon becoming a lawyer in Ghana.

While granting an interview to award-winning Ghanaian broadcaster Abeiku Aggrey Santana on Accra-based Okay FM, Fella said it was her hope to join Ghana’s tall list of female lawyers.

Giving more information about her ambition, Fella Makafui indicated that come what may, she was going to enter Ghana’s Law School next year (2022).

She added that she was supposed to go back to school some two years ago but some issues stopped her from enrolling.

Even though she did not really state her motivation for choosing to go to law school, Fella said once she is called to the Ghana Bar, she was going to discipline wrongdoers in society.

To this, she mimicked a judge banging a gavel and followed up with the popular sentence, “court rise”.

This erupted laughter from the studio and it even got the actress-turned-singer also bursting out into laughter.

Among many other things which she spoke about during the interview, Fella Makafui recounted how she managed to put up a 7-bedroom house with the help of her mother.

Award-winning Ghanaian gospel artiste, Pastor Nana Yaw Boakye famed as MOG Music has indicated that he does not mind working with an LGBTQI+ person.

While speaking in an interview with Joy Prime’s Ibrahim Ben-Bako, the Hallelujah singer said he was not one who would discriminate against people with different sexual orientations.

According to him people in the LGBTQI+ community needed to be treated with love instead of being spoken against with harsh words and exhibiting hate towards them.

The gospel singer who doubles as a man of God added that left to him alone, gay people should be treated with love and kindness.

He added that though such characteristics, one can preach to them and convince them to come and know Jesus Christ.

The Be Lifted crooner said despising people from the LGBTQI+ community was only going to make matters worse and would prevent them from getting to be saved.

MOG Music’s comments come after widespread debate in the country about the legalization of LGBTQI+.

Ghanaian singer Kofi Jamar, has taken a swipe at social media users criticising the likes of Shatta Wale and Sarkodie over Yaw Tog’s impressive achievement with his Sore Remix.

Kofi Jamar took to his Twitter account to ask those criticising the top names in the music industry to take a back seat and show some respect.

His tweet read: “Stop disrespecting people like Sarkodie, Shatta, Stonebwoy and the likes just because of an achievement made by we newbies. What we’ve come to see and accomplish is been their years of hardworking and consistency. Let’s put some respect on their names plsss”

This followers rampant tweets and social media posts over Yaw Tog’s Sore Remix which managed to garner over 1 million views on Youtube in under a week.

Checks made by frimprinceproductions showed that the song had made 1.1 million views in 4 days of its release on the popular video website.

As a result of this remarkable showing, many people took to social media to praise the young musician for doing what even the veteran stars could not pull off if even given a week.

This comparison between Yaw Tog and the top stars did not sit well with the Ekorso hitmaker and it has generated some massive debate.
