Mr Anane Frimpong added that he pleaded with the police to give him some time to bring back the demo to the young artiste.
He then said he came back to Accra and went through the hundreds of demos he had received and luckily found the said artiste’s demo.
The veteran music producer said he quickly returned the demo to the artiste who was in the company of his grandmother and he decided to not get involved with any artiste from the area again.
Mr Anane Frimpong however said that the area from which he started was blessed with many musicians and he cited examples as the likes of Nana Amakye Dede, Ofori Amponsah, late Kofi B, Agya Bomofour, Obour, Francis Asimadu.
He said he was very pained by the incident but has now thought out the issue and would soon go back to Konongo to help push artistes and raise more stars in the music industry.
