Shatta Wale Does Not Want Me In His Life Again Because Magluv Told Him I’m A Witch – Mum Of Musician Speaks (Video)

Madam Elsie Avemegah, the biological mother of award-winning dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah, has made some shocking revelations about her relationship with her son.

Speaking in an interview on Ghanaian radio station Hot FM, Madam Elsie said Shatta Wale does not want to relate with her like before owing to some hearsay.

She continued that son’s behaviour was because Magdalene Love, the lady parading herself as the cousin of the musician had told him that his mother is a witch.

Madam Elsie Avemegah recounted in a sad tone that Magdalene Love famed as Magluv told her son that the oil she (Elsie) was bringing to the musician’s home was laced with something that she was going to use to bewitch him.

Mother of the multiple award-winning musician continued that ever since Magluv said this, Shatta Wale has cut her off entirely.

She said it had gotten to the point that the Freedom crooner was no more answering her calls due to what he had been told about her.

The rather pained mother of the musician said she was a Godfearing woman and would not stoop so low to want to harm her own biological child.

The Ghana Association Of Phonographic Industries (GAPI) has been injected with fresh blood after former members decided to meet and deliberate on issues about the group’s activities.

At a convened meeting, award-winning producers, music makers and executives met up and decided to put measures in place to raise the Association to the level it used to be some decades ago.

Following the extensive meeting, the convenor of the meeting and members nominated Nana Asa as interim Chairman of the Association.

Mr Enoch Agyepong was also nominated as the interim General Secretary of the group.

With this in place, members who were in attendance also moved to have other members nominated to form the governing body of the Association so that they can set the ball rolling again.

GAPI played a pivotal role in the passage of the Copyright Act 690, for the revision of the Ghana cultural policy and also engaged with the National Development Planning Commission in the development of policy direction for the creative industries.
GAPI members also played an active role in the formation of The Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO).

The Association had Dr Osei Kwame Despite the owner of Despite Media as its first chairman alongside music producer heavy weights like Papcad and others as executive members.

Fuse ODG Signs Ghanaian Singer Feli Nuna In Big Move (Video Drops)

Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter Felicia Nuna Akosua Tawiah better known by her stage name Feli Nuna has been signed by Fuse ODG.

The UK artiste’s record label, Off The Ground, would be the new producer of the young Ghanaian female artiste and they have released a video to that effect.

In the video, Feli Nuna was seen seated by a pool as she fidgeted with her cell phone while listening to music.

Soon after that, she was heard in a voice-over saying that many people had been wondering where she was and went on to make the announcement.

Feli Nuna indicated that she was happy to be working with the ODG brand now and asked her fans to anticipate great words from her now that all the paper works have been done.

Excerpts of the video showed the signing ceremony where Guse ODG’s team met with Feli Nuna’s team to finalize their agreement.

After putting pen to paper, the two teams were seen making merry as they popped champagne and made a toast to higher connections.

Yaw Tog’s Comment About Stormzy’s Popularity Is Harmless – Entertainment Pundit (Watch Video)

Young Ghanaian musician Thorsten Owusu Gyimah famed as Yaw Tog, has said that he has played a huge role in making UK artiste Stormzy very popular in Ghana.

While speaking in an interview with MzGee on popular TV station TV3, Yaw Tog blew his own trumpet and said he has made Stormzy quite popular in Ghana.

According to the Sore hitmaker, Stormzy was not known by many Ghanaians up until the time he flew down into the country to record the Sore Remix with him.

Tog although admitted that Stormzy played a huge role in launching his music career but was quick to add that the UK-based artiste also benefitted greatly from the link-up.

The burgeoning artiste implied that even though Stormzy had fans in the country, the Sore remix gave him even more mileage.

This comment, according to Prince Opoku, an entertainment enthusiast, is very harmless because of the caveat in the Sore crooner’s statement.

Prince Opoku started explicitly that Tog said he and Stormzy worked magic on their brands and pushed each other to the fore.

Mr Opoku made the assertion that someone in Assin Fosu might not have heard of Stormzy before but for the Sore Remix, he could also talk about the UK-based musician.

Yaw Tog shot to the limelight with his Sore song but he even became more popular after Stormzy came down to Ghana and worked on a remix to the song alongside Kwesi Arthur.

The Sore Remix hit the ground running and in a space of just 3 days, had garnered over 1 million views on YouTube.

This was considered a big deal and a huge record in the country as not many musicians had been able to accomplish such a feat.

Yaw Tog’s Sore picked up the Hip Hop Song of the Year at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

I Am Going On A Break; My Mental Health Is At Stake – Efia Odo Announces Hiatus From #FixTheCountry Activities (See Post)

Ghanaian model Andrea Owusu known widely as Efia Odo has sadly said that she is taking a break from her activism with the popular #FixTheCountry group.

Taking to her Instagram page in a post sighted by Fimprinceproductions, Efia Odo made the announcement to her teeming fans.

According to the video vixen, the recent issues with her involvement with the #FixTheCountry group was affecting her mental health and she needed a break.

This new development was necessitated following the actress’s arrest, the death of Macho Kaaka and the Ejura shooting which led to more deaths and injuries.

Efia Odo maintained that even though her intentions for the country were as pure as gold, the recent developments in the country have become too heavy for her to contain.

Her post on IG read: “I will like to take this time to let you know that I’m going on a Hiatus. My mental health is at stake at the moment. My love for this country and humanity has turned into something I am not, political. I am of peace and equality. My heart and intentions are as pure as gold. Things are too heavy for me right now. Take care.”

Efia Odo has been a very active player in the #FixTheCountry movement which started some months back to get the government to fix issues facing Ghanaians.
