Ghanaian model Andrea Owusu known widely as Efia Odo has sadly said that she is taking a break from her activism with the popular #FixTheCountry group.

Taking to her Instagram page in a post sighted by Fimprinceproductions, Efia Odo made the announcement to her teeming fans.

According to the video vixen, the recent issues with her involvement with the #FixTheCountry group was affecting her mental health and she needed a break.

This new development was necessitated following the actress’s arrest, the death of Macho Kaaka and the Ejura shooting which led to more deaths and injuries.

Efia Odo maintained that even though her intentions for the country were as pure as gold, the recent developments in the country have become too heavy for her to contain.

Her post on IG read: “I will like to take this time to let you know that I’m going on a Hiatus. My mental health is at stake at the moment. My love for this country and humanity has turned into something I am not, political. I am of peace and equality. My heart and intentions are as pure as gold. Things are too heavy for me right now. Take care.”

Efia Odo has been a very active player in the #FixTheCountry movement which started some months back to get the government to fix issues facing Ghanaians.
