Breaking News: Founding Member Of Ghana Music Awards Foussena Djagba Is Dead (See Details)

News coming in from the social media page of Ghana Music Awards has it that one of the founding members of the scheme, Foussena Djagba has passed away.

The sad death is reported to have happened today, March 29, 2021.

In a post made on Twitter, the handlers of the Ghana Music Awards broke the news to the world after posting some photos of the deceased.

The post read: “We are saddened by the passing of our dearest friend; madam Foussena Djagba, CEO of Fouss promotions and a founding member of the Ghana Music Awards. Rest In Peace Fou$$”

It is yet to be ascertained the cause of death but this is a huge blow to the Ghana music fraternity.

First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Rebecca Akufo-Addo has wished her husband, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo a happy birthday on his 77th birthday today, March 29, 2021.

The First Lady took to her official Facebook page to celebrate her husband on the occasion of his new age and borrowed the popular words of singer Gyakie to send her message to the president.

Rebecca Akufo-Addo shared a nice photo of the president on her wall and wished him well on his special day.

After posting the photo, Mrs Akufo-Addo captioned it “Happy Birthday Mr. President. My mind dey for you”

Many fans and followers of the first lady took to the comment section to react to the photo and corresponding caption as over 20,000 people reacted to it.

President Akufo-Addo is 77 years old today and many Ghanaians in and around the diaspora have wished the Commander-In-Chief of the Ghana Army well.

Ghanaian artistes Worlasi, KiDi and Sarkodie have become the first to receive awards at the ongoing 3Music Awards tonight, 27, March, 2021.

Worlasi won the Alternative Music Of The Year Award while KiDi won the EP of the year with the Blue EP.

Sarkodie won the Performer of the year with his Virtual Concert.

Stonebwoy’s Sobolo also was adjudged best Highlife Song of The Year.

Sarkodie’s Oofeetsor has won an award too!

The much-anticipated 3Music Awards has officially started tonight, March 27, 2021, in the capital city of Ghana, Accra.

The show has been opened by veteran Kumawood actor, Akrobeto alongside comedians OB Amponsah and Lekzy The Comic.

A video sighted by frimprinceproductions showed the three funny characters cracking ribs as they entertained watchers of the show with their hilarious natures.

The 3Music Awards is one of the biggests nights in Ghana’s music industry and it is expected to be watched by millions of Ghanaians.

Already, a sneak peak of the amazing stage for the awards has already been seen and one of the hosts, Naa Askorkor has been seen getting ready for the night,
