News reaching frimprinceproductions.co.uk has it that Ghanaian actress Rosemond Alade Brown known on social media as Akuapem Poloo has been handed a 90-day jail term by an Accra Circuit Court.
This development follows a court case which saw her pleading guilty to some three charges levelled against her including posting obscene content and infringing upon the rights of a child.
On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, the actress was convicted on the charges and was asked to run a pregnancy test while in police custody awaiting her sentencing.
Today, April 16, 2021, the sentence was delivered and it so happens that Akuapem Poloo would spend the next 90 days in prison.
Akuapem Poloo, some time ago, posted a photo of herself in her birthday suit with her 8-year-old son.
According to her, the photo was symbolic to her because when she was giving birth to her son 8 years aog, she was not wearing any clothes.
The photo which she posted on social media however backfired as she was criticised over it and it led to Child Rights International asking authorities to look into the matter.
